Day 4:
Went to the cultural museum today. It was rather boring. Espcially since the class was not very interestef and moving through the museum very quickly. As we were rather obedient, we were allowed to buy stuff from 7-11. Me, Saif, Beng Teong and Chien Tat all bought coke. BT wasnt as crazy, but mostly me and chien tat kept shouting HAO JIU! lol. After that we went for a lunch at the YMCA. The best dish was the curry chicken. later we went to Doi Suthep, a temple on the mountain. It was uquite tiring to get to the top, but the 306 steps were well worth the view. icould see like really really far, and the whole of the Chiang Mai airport, There was some fog over the city. The breeze was also excellent. being free frm pollution. It was really a breathtaking experience. There was also a beautiful temple, with many things gold plated! Me Saif and Chien Tay tried our hand at bargaining. preparation for the night bazaar. i spotted 2 necklaces that i fancied, but the various owners refused to bring down the price to below 90 baht. even a offer of 170 baht for 2. Sigh. Will try to get something tomorrow. Anywya went to interact with the girls from Le Refuge. We played Captain Ball. Was really fun. My team , which consisted of the girls, won rather convincingly with a score margin of 66-21. Haha. the dinner after that was rather bad. and hardly anyone went back for 2nd helpings, which was rather rare throughout the trip. After i probably had the best time on the whole trip. If I forgot to mention that we saw fire lanterns being set off, which was beautiful by the way at the KK. We let off our own fire lanterns, and i did mine with beng teong, only the 2 of us, which was really cool. We did ours rather quickly, which allowed us to proceed to make another one. Unfortunately, there was a hole in our 2nd lantern, so it couldnt take off. however it proved to be a blessing in disguise, due to the malfunction, we had to burn the lantern, with it being one of the last few lanterns, it attracted alot of attention. and thanks to that i managed to get Jin to take a photo of me, speaking of photos, please go on to my facebook. quite alot of them, too many to post here. It was a really once in a lifetime experience, and i wish i could do it alot more often, if i ever get the chance again. checked in to the Northern Heritage resort later, and my first reaction was. OMG. thsio room is the biggest room i've ever stayed in, almost the size of a 3 room flat. lol. like way bigger than the rooms we got at Holiday Garden. If course the bad part that it is a square courtyard, which allowed teachers to spot us very easily, espeically when we like to travel to other rooms. haha.
